REPORTAGE: Forma Intervallo Spazio, exhibition by Riccardo Dalisi at the Trevi space in Bolzano May 6th-29th

During May the Trevi center in Bolzano will host an exhibition dedicated to Riccaro Dalisi, Italian artist and radical designer, awarded with two Compassi d'oro (1981, 2014), promoted by Spazio 5 Arte contemporanea and Archivio Dalisi, curated by Manuel Canelles.

Dalisi has combined research and education in design, including artisans from the Trajan district and Rua Catalana, to start a sustainable design practice through "poor" materials, such as tin.

Thanks to Alessandro Mendini, we have a  precise definition of Dalisi's poetics, intimately linked to the Campanian territory. "Rethinking Dalisi", as Mendini writes", allows us to reconsider our approach to the aesthetic manifestation, to the relationship with otherness and to recalibrate those phenomena that underlie the idea of space without which there is no participation, nor social action or political thinking".

To enrich the exhibition, a series of educational and creative workshops about the future of new generations.  With its extensive set of works, the display becomes a timely invitation to rethink creativity as the engine of social involvement and change, especially in these suspended times.
